I love to create. And that's what I'm doing in my practice - creating peace, creating stillness, creating alignment, holding space...for YOU to create. To create an enhanced version of yourself. To create a great relationship with your body and desire to hold space for IT...so it can bring you wholeness.
We all want to feel our best, don't we?
I want to introduce you to the beautiful partnership you can have with your body so that you can take care of one another and be able to live life to the fullest!

About
I help you...help yourself!

It is my opportunity to help you remember the strength and power that you hold within. I believe that our bodies know how to be well, and that they just need to be acknowledged, understood, and supported.
Knowing yourself is the 1st step.
So this is my MISSION STATEMENT.
I help you, help yourself.
Things can be more simple than we sometimes make them out to be.
I offer guidance with becoming aware, letting go and breaking free from old patterns of pain, tension, injury, stress, fear, and belief systems that hold you back from accessing your desires. When we do this, we become open to receiving all the goodness and strength the body was designed to have!
My Story
As I mentioned on my home page, the fuel to my fire in learning about the body was to be able to heal my own!
I was tired of feeling unwell physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I sought answers from various health professionals and was still unable to get the complete puzzle of how to heal. After my health declined to its worst, I was determined to find the missing pieces for myself, and that is what inspired me to go to school.
I'm not the type to take no for an answer because I know that where there's a will, there's a way!
I first went to the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition which helped me immensely on the inside...but there was still something missing. Even though internally I was feeling so much better, at 19 my body was falling apart. My body was out of balance and I didn't feel as strong as I knew I could be, though I was already so much better than how I started.
I sought out a physical therapy type practitioner who did a treatment called PNF. She was a huge puzzle piece for me in understanding not only the importance of physically aligning the body, but how when it is, it becomes a lot easier to attain emotional/spiritual alignment as well, and to be able to find peace.
My gut knew I wasn't sick from just my diet. My emotional health was a huge factor that affected my physical wellbeing.
When we are grounded and aligned in both areas, we can have access to infinite possibilities in our lives whether that be healing, creating your dream life, understanding the way the world works, and more.
I learned how to empower myself with guidance from this therapist that I will be eternally grateful to. She was a huge asset to me in my healing journey and in helping me realize some of my gifts.
I intuitively knew that I was to learn what she had to teach, so I adopted her as my mentor and worked with her for a year before I went to school for massage!
I was awe inspired by the body and all of its moving parts and innate power. I hungered for knowledge and feasted on learning any spare time I had. I still do!
Since learning that the body is multi-dimensional and that all areas (mind, body, and spirit) need to be addressed in order to experience wholeness, I wanted to shout it from the roof tops! It is in my nature to want to help others, especially when they are suffering and I feel that I have found some golden nuggets that could potentially help them too! This took part in leading me to becoming a Massage Therapist. I desired to have a fuller understanding of gross anatomy, as well as the credentials I needed so that I could start helping others, just as my mentor did for me!

I attended MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy in Calgary, which offers an RMT education that meets the highest national standards. I wanted this out of a school, because I knew it would help make me the best therapist I could be.
I like a challenge, and I was drawn to it, so I went.
Looking back I am so grateful for my experiences, the good and bad...because they have given me opportunity to show myself who I am and what I am capable of. You can't have light without the dark. Because I have walked through rough terrain, I feel it can help make me more relatable to others. Though I
haven't gone through every person's experiences, I am better able to SEE them, and offer them light to guide their way.
I have a passion for getting to the root causes of pain and helping others heal. I find this work incredibly edifying and am excited to help my clients take back their power, to have a deeper understanding of their bodies, and to RENEW their VITALITY!
